Treble Tones is a non-auditioned women’s chorus. We rehearse from September through mid May. We have a December holiday concert and an end of season concert.
We accept new members at any time, but typically in September or January.
Membership does not discriminate based on ethnicity, race, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, religion, gender identification, or sexual orientation. We believe that everyone should be treated equally.
-
While it is important to attend rehearsals to learn the music there are no rules regarding missing rehearsals, sing outs or concerts.
-
Sing Outs are optional performances at Community organizations or senior housing facilities. These are typically afternoons or evenings. Members attending should arrive half an hour before the scheduled start, the group typically warms up then sings for 45 minutes to an hour.
-
Prior to a Sing Out or concert a notification is sent with the expected attire for these performances. Members should have a pair of black slacks (no jeans, leggings or yoga pants) Black shoes and socks, a black crew neck knit shirt, and a white long or 3/4 sleeve shirt. Colorful accessories are provided at the Sing Outs and other costume elements are provided for the May concert.
-
Each member needs a black 3 ring binder, 1/2 inch deep to hold music at performances. Treble Tones has several of these and can provide one if needed. In addition, Treble Tones will provide magazine holders to hold music without holes punched. Treble Tones branded bags are available to purchase.
Although not associated with any religious organization we rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7 PM to 9 PM from September to May at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 3900 Winnetka Ave N, New Hope, Minnesota
Guest night is Sept 10 at 7:00 PM
Or join us at any September rehearsal.
